BudgetMo

Terms of Use

Effective September 14, 2026

Agreement

BudgetMo (“Budget Mobile”) is a household budgeting app. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these terms.

The service

BudgetMo helps you and a partner see balances, spending, and shared household money. We are not a bank, broker, or financial adviser. Nothing in the app is financial, tax, or legal advice.

Your account

You sign in with Apple or Google. You are responsible for that sign-in method and for activity in your household. Keep invite codes only with people you trust.

Bank connections

If you connect a bank, you do that through Plaid. Plaid’s terms also apply to that connection. BudgetMo only requests transaction and balance data needed to show your household books. You can disconnect institutions from the Accounts tab or from your bank.

Acceptable use

Use BudgetMo for your own household finances. Do not misuse the service, attempt to access another household without an invite, or use the app in a way that breaks the law.

Your data

You can edit your profile, recategorize charges, and delete your profile in the app. Deleting your profile deletes your BudgetMo account. If you are the only person in the household, we delete that household and disconnect bank connections BudgetMo made through Plaid. It does not close your bank accounts. If a partner remains, they keep the household and you are removed. Signing out does not delete anything.

Availability

We provide BudgetMo as-is. Features, bank coverage, and uptime can change. We are not liable for lost data, missed payments, or decisions you make from numbers shown in the app.

Changes

We may update these terms. The effective date at the top will change when we do. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
